Nook Look (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates nooklook.ca. This page explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or book a session with us, how we use it, and how you can contact us about it.
Information We Collect
We collect personal information when you voluntarily provide it to us, such as when you:
- Submit our Contact form (name, email address, and message)
- Submit our Booking form (name, email address, phone number, session type, and preferred date)
- Email us directly at info@nooklook.ca
We do not require an account to browse this site, and we do not knowingly collect payment or financial information through this website.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your questions and inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and prepare for photography sessions
- Send you information related to a session you’ve booked (e.g. reminders, gallery delivery)
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We will only send you promotional or marketing emails if you’ve given us consent to do so, in accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
This site uses basic browser storage (such as session storage) to remember whether you’ve already seen our promotional offer popup during your visit, so it doesn’t show repeatedly. This information stays in your browser and is not sent to us or shared with anyone.
Third-Party Services
Some parts of this site rely on third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Our Contact page embeds a Google Maps location, provided by Google
- Links to our Instagram profile are provided by Meta/Instagram
- Our website is hosted with IONOS, and our contact/booking forms are processed and stored securely within our WordPress site
Photos of Minors
Many of our sessions involve photographing children. We only photograph minors with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who has booked the session, and any images shown in our online gallery are shared with that client’s permission.
Data Retention
We keep the information submitted through our Contact and Booking forms for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver a booked session, and maintain reasonable business records. You can request that we delete your information at any time (see below).
Your Rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. To make a request, email us at info@nooklook.ca.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page along with an updated “last updated” date above.
